Proclaiming Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah

Beth Simcha (House of Joy) is a Messianic Synagogue in Lufkin, Texas.

Beth Simcha was established March 17th, 2015, out of a desire to share the Besorah, the Good News, of Messiah Yeshua to Jews and Gentiles of Lufkin and surrounding communities.

We do not attempt to "convert" Jews in to Christians or Christians into Jews. Our hearts' desire is to sanctify the name of God and live out God's Word in Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel and Light of the World.

What to Expect at Congregation Beth Simcha

Ezekiel 11:19

19 I will give them unity of heart. “I will put a new spirit among you.” I will remove from their bodies the hearts of stone and give them hearts of flesh.

A Warm Welcome

You can always expect to be welcomed by the people at CBS Lufkin.

Come worship with us.  You'll feel at home.

Liturgical Prayer Service

Prayer from the Heart

A Synagogue is called Beit Tefilla (House of Prayer) in Hebrew. Some of our prayers are taken directly from the Bible and some are compilations from different parts of scripture put together. We stand together and declare God's Word back to Him.

The men gather for Shacharit prayer at 9:30.

Torah Service

Senior Strategist

Torah (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) is the foundation of all Scripture.

Messiah Yeshua spoke these words:

"46 For if you really believed Moshe, you would believe me; because it was about me that he wrote.

Yochanan 5:46 (John)

“Do not think that I came to abolish the Torah or the Prophets! I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.

Matityahu 5:17

Worship in Song and Dance

Senior Architect

Worship in song and dance is a great expression of our love for God. The book of Psalms is filled with songs of praise and worship. Dance is mentioned in Scripture many times as a form of praise unto God.

"Your God the LORD is in your midst, A warrior who brings triumph. He will rejoice over you and be glad, He will shout over you with jubilation. He will soothe with His love." Zephaniah 3:17

Tim Stewart

Founder and Congregational Leader

Tim and his wife Darlene have been teaching and ministering in Messianic Judaism for over 20 years. They are ardent supports of Israel and the Jewish people and desire to see the hastening of the return of Messiah.

You should lead holy and godly lives,  as you wait for the Day of God and work to hasten its coming.
